BSV Hosts Successful COBIS Secondary Games 2025

British School of Vilnius Hosts Successful COBIS Secondary Games 2025

The British School of Vilnius had the honour of hosting the prestigious COBIS Secondary Games 2025 from 29 May to 1 June, welcoming students, coaches and staff from eight international schools across six countries.

This year's Games brought together a vibrant global community of young athletes, competing across three days in swimming, athletics, and football. Held at top venues across Vilnius — including Vingis Park Athletics Stadium, Lazdynai Pool and VFA-Hanner Stadium — the event embodied the spirit of COBIS: friendship, resilience, and excellence through sport.

We are proud to announce the final standings:
1st Place – St Catherine’s British School, Greece
2nd Place – Dubai College, UAE
3rd Place – Campion School, Greece

In a special recognition of character and spirit The British School of Vilnius was awarded the Fair Play Award, as voted by coaches from all participating schools. We are incredibly proud of our students, who represented BSV with integrity, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament.

As the first school in Lithuania to host the COBIS Secondary Games, this event was a milestone for our growing community. A special thank you goes to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters who made this international event a resounding success.

Congratulations to all participants for making this an unforgettable experience. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to strengthen our ties within the global COBIS family.
