A typical day at BSV

  • Morning Welcome and Circle Time

    The day begins with a calm and welcoming start, as children settle in, greet their teachers and friends, and feel ready for the day ahead. Children come together to listen, share, and connect. Through songs, stories, and conversation, they build confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of belonging.

  • Outdoor Play & Forest School

    Children spend time outdoors exploring and discovering through play and forest school experiences. In our natural setting, they connect with nature while gently building resilience, creativity, and confidence.

  • Phonics & Early Learning

    Children begin developing early reading and writing skills through engaging activities, building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

  • Lunch & Play Time

    After a healthy and delicious lunch, it’s time to head outside and enjoy active play. Your child will run, climb, and explore in our dedicated play areas, riding tricycles, sliding, swinging, and building confidence through joyful movement.

  • Creative Time (Music & Arts)

    A joyful part of the day where children explore music, art, and creative play. Through hands-on activities, they express their ideas, build confidence, and develop their imagination in a calm and inspiring environment.

  • Sport & Swimming

    Young learners take part in active play, sport, and swimming, developing strength, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment, while building healthy habits from an early age.
