STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER
David Bigham
After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Politics, I went on to complete a Master's in International Education and a PGCE. For the past eight years, I have worked at the British School of Madagascar, where my roles have included Humanities Teacher, Examinations Officer, and Headteacher.
Business has been a particular passion throughout my teaching career. I enjoy helping students understand how organisations make decisions, respond to challenges, and operate within an increasingly globalised world. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching Business is seeing students develop the confidence to analyse real-world situations and apply their learning to contemporary issues and future career pathways.
Joining the British School of Vilnius marks an exciting new chapter for me. I am looking forward to working with a new cohort of students, helping them achieve academic success, and supporting them as they prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead. The opportunity to live and work in Lithuania is one I am particularly looking forward to, both professionally and personally, as my family and I begin this new adventure.
About Mr. Bigham
Away from the classroom, I enjoy hiking, running, and keeping active in the gym. When not outdoors or exercising, you'll usually find me working on puzzles or simply spending time with my wife and young son.
