Join us for an informative and practical session exploring how we teach phonics and reading at BSV.

We will look at how phonics supports early reading, how we develop fluency and comprehension through VIPERS, and the different ways we support children as they become confident and enthusiastic readers.

We will also share some simple, practical ways you can support reading at home, as well as explain our new book bags and reading records and how these will help strengthen the connection between reading at school and at home.
