I have lived and worked in several countries, including Malawi, the UK, Switzerland, China, and The Bahamas. These experiences have given me a real appreciation for different cultures, languages, and perspectives, and have shaped my passion for teaching English.

I studied English and Linguistics at university and have always been fascinated by the power of language. I believe that language helps us understand one another, build relationships, and create opportunities. As a lifelong learner, I am currently continuing my studies in Educational Sciences and enjoy encouraging students to be curious, resilient, and confident learners.

About Mrs Higgins

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, travelling, paddleboarding, and long walks.  My biggest passion is dogs, and I am always happy to meet a four-legged friend!
