Overview

Students have the option to study Lithuanian Language and Literature as part of their programme. This option is available to all students who wish to continue their Lithuanian studies and who are aiming to sit the Lithuanian State Examination at the end of Year 13.

The course explores the development of Lithuanian literature in comparison with European literary traditions, supported by relevant historical and cultural contexts. Students also develop advanced skills in the formal and academic use of the Lithuanian language across a range of written and spoken contexts, preparing them for further study and examination success.
