STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER
LISA COOK
“MY PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING IS TO NEVER GIVE UP AND TO HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET.”
I have been teaching at Rugby School Thailand where I have been teaching Science, GCSE and A level Biology for the past 6 years. Thailand has been my home for the last 19 years, teaching in a few international schools living near a national park in central Thailand, to Bangkok and then close to the sea.
My philosophy of teaching is to never give up and have a positive mindset, for students to feel safe to try. I believe in a safe and caring classroom where all feel included and engage in science, enjoying it regardless of their ability. I want them to enjoy the best subject!
About Ms Cook
I enjoy spending time with my two children Reece aged 8 and Davina aged 5, we love to travel and go on adventures, from visiting temples, trying snorkelling and scuba, to swimming and zip lining in the treetops. I enjoy travelling and soaking up the local culture and customs. We're very excited to travel around Lithuania and across Europe.
I enjoy singing in my free time and being part of a community choir within my last school for the past six years, I'm hoping I can find a new choir to join in Vilnius. When I have the time I love to draw and also read.
