STAFF PROFILE - COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER

MALCOLM RUDKIN

“THE REWARD IN A CLASSROOM STEMS FROM STUDENTS SHARING THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS SO WE ALL LEARN COLLECTIVELY.”

I am an experienced teacher of ICT and computer science. A changing world using technology means adapting practices in the classroom. I enjoy exploring the approaches required for using new hardware and software. As a qualified teacher in business, I have been able to share important values students will need when they take their next steps into further education and work. Learners find out how the major types of business organisation are established, financed and run, and how their activities are regulated. Factors influencing business decision-making are also considered, as are the essential values of cooperation and interdependence.  The reward in a classroom stems from students sharing their knowledge and accomplishments so we all learn collectively.
