The British secondary system

Year 12 and Year 13

Our curriculum is built around the British A Level programme in which students have the opportunity to explore subjects they're passionate about and excel in. The A Level programme is considered the gold standard in international education, not just because they are accepted and recognised by universities around the world, but also because they challenge students to think critically and independently.

core subject options

The A-Level system allows students to focus on subjects they are passionate about and excel in, which is important for academic success and future university and career aspirations. Our school offers mentoring and tutoring services to guide students in choosing the best path for their individual needs.

Choosing your options for A Levels is an important stage in your educational journey.

The information you will find documented in the booklet below will help to start making decisions about your learning and to choose subjects that suit your aspirations, skills, and needs.

adult approach to learning

At The British School of Vilnius, we provide a mature learning environment for our Sixth Form students that is both informal and structured. Classes are held in small groups, creating an ideal setting for active participation and personalised attention from teachers. This includes more opportunities for homework and feedback on assignments, creating an environment in which students have the freedom to explore and refine their ideas, encouraging them to become more self-reliant thinkers.
